There was this guy "Nick" who I went to high school with.  We were actually in musicals together, specifically A Chorus Line and Guys N' Dolls.  We weren't great friends, just acquaintances.  He was a personable guy, though he had a tendency to become really obnoxious at times.  He was oblivious to the fact that most people thought him annoying, and he would often (during highschool) quote from the Wayne's World movie, or utter the character Waynes' catchphrase, "Alright, Okay" over and over as he nodded and brushed his longish hair behind his ears.  It got old quick.  Maybe he had OCD.  I was always friendly toward him, but I didn't feel the need to stay in touch with him as I moved four-hundred miles North to Los Angeles to attend Graduate school.  As I was going to school I was working at a frame shop in Hollywood.  One day, a man walked in who looked vaguely familiar.  It was only as he approached me did I realize who it was.  It was Nick, and gone were his long, flowing locks.  He had buzzed all his hair off, but his face was still wide as ever.  He asked me to find a frame for a photograph of him and his girlfriend.  He showed me the picture, and I detected a slight gloating vibe from him, even if it wasn't intentional, because his girlfriend was mildly attractive.  Also, he had run into me working in a lowly frame shop, and I was forced to assist him as he rattled on about his successful Dj'ing career
